'Perfume' as beautiful as it sounds

"Perfume" by Patrick Suskind became
one of the best gothic novels of its time. And after the Walter Reid viewed a
special presentation of the film at their Rocky Flix night, the movie seemed to
continue the splendid experience which is unique to gothic fiction. Like my
promise to you in the CQ extra’s last issue, this is a movie that you just
can’t miss.

Ghost Rider running on empty

Walking into the cinema and finding a seat, I had quite high hopes
for this movie. After all, Nicholas Cage tearing around on a chopper that
would make Meatloaf proud whilst dispensing flaming vengeance with both
fists seemed a pretty foolproof story to me. Unfortunately, I was wrong.
